
Exploring the Exquisite Flavor of North Indian Cusine: Welcome to Tasty Treats your go-to destination for Food adventures across India. In my second blog, I turn sports light to North Indian cuisine. As born and raised in North India, I can feel the rich and diverse flavors of dishes.
The Rich Culinary Tradition of North India: North Indian cuisine combines various cultural influences, including Panjabi, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, and Bihari Traditions. North Indian food is known for its strong flavor and creamy gravy.
Must try North Indian dishes:
1) Butter Chicken: Although butter chicken originated in Delhi but it is a globally renowned dish and is served all over the World. Butter chicken cooked in buttery tomato sauce. we eat butter chicken with naan or rice.
2) Chole Bhature: It is a famous street food of Panjab. Chole is made from chickpeas. it consists of spicy spices (cardamom, clove, cinnamon, cumin seed, red chilies, black paper, bay leaf ) and is served with bhature made from all-purpose flour.
3) Paneer Tikka: Paneer Tikka is most famous in North India and it is served in every hotel. Paneer Tikka is made from marinated paneer chunks. In marination, we use spices, lemon, ginger-garlic paste, curd, and mustard oil. It gives a tangy and spicy flavor and then grilled.

4) Litti Chokha: It originated in Bihar. Litti is made from wheat flour and stuffed with black chickpea powder. We use spices, onion, garlic, and coriander leaf in stuffing. Chokha is made from brinjal, potatoes, and tomatoes and is served with desi ghee. It simply tastes delicious.
A Culinary Experience to Remember: North Indian cuisine is delightful and rich in flavor. Each dish tells a story and reflects the culture. North Indian foods are something to offer on every plate.
